DESCRIPTION
Morgan Stanley Research Technology is looking for a data scientist to help with conducting advanced data analysis and develop Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Artificial Intelligence models using various AI and Big Data tools. The role requires the candidate to work independently with Research business and vendors on analyzing and defining problem statements, and work closely with development teams on designing and implementing solutions and managing the delivery of various products.
QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate should have the following skills:
? 5+ years of experience in machine learning & NLP:
– Natural Language Processing (Chatbot, NER, Topic Modeling, Word2Vec, Q&A, etc.)
– Entity identification/extraction and knowledge discovery from structured and unstructured content
– Descriptive & Predictive Statistics
– Supervised & Unsupervised Learning
– Deep Learning (CNN, RNN, LSTM)
– Time Series Analysis
? 5+ years of experience in machine learning & NLP:

? Familiar with database systems such as DB2, Sybase, and NoSQL databases
? Experience in Big Data environments, such as Hadoop/Hive and Spark
? Good team player and open minded
? Excellent communication skills and adequate knowledge in finance
? Advanced degree (PhD, Master) in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or other related fields
