5+ years of experience managing all stages of research design (study design, test creation, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting).
5+ years of experience with research methods including: field research, usability, focus groups, survey design, and data analysis including statistical measures.
BS in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Human Computer Design Engineering or related discipline.

Come join our Buy With Prime team! If you are a Sr. UX Researcher passionate about retail experiences and identifying patterns and solving complex problems, this is the team for you. All roles are available as virtual or as part of our 4 design hubs in Seattle, Santa Monica, Minneapolis and New York city.
Key job responsibilities
Lead the UX Research for this emerging product to be impactful and deliver a customer obsessed experience. Partner with product, design, and engineering to develop experiences and services. Work with leadership in design and product planning and goal creation.
Chart a course for yourself and others in ambiguous situations. Mentor and develop designers within your own organization and beyond on research best-practices.
Define the long-term vision, strategy, and goals for UX research.
Create, prioritize, plan, and execute research roadmap in alignment with product goals.
Select and develop a broad range of methods to discover customer challenges, opportunities, and make recommendations.
Triangulate qualitative research data with available metrics to deepen the understanding of the customer experience.
Deliver research insights to support strategic decision making.
Create repeatable and scalable mechanisms to evaluate from a holistic customer perspective.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers on ways to improve the customer experience based on the results of your research.
MS or Ph.D. in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Human Computer Design Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years proven success leading UX research projects with demonstrated impact.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
An unfailing passion and capacity to advocate on behalf of our users.
User research or other experience from a technical field, such as software development, systems management or similar.
The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
