Job Summary:-
Asteria is looking for a strong candidate with experience in strategic planning activities working directly with the senior management.
The role will require the ideal candidate to assist the founders in evaluating various business opportunities, operationalize key projects in transitioning from strategy to execution and assist in budgeting, planning as well as reporting.
The ideal candidate will also research competitors and their marketing methods, and study and gather customer information.
The ideal candidate is also expected to understand the emerging industry trends, opportunities and generate statistical data in order to support management during their decision making process regarding new product development, competitor insights, pricing strategies and promotions.
The successful candidate will be able to analyze qualitative data, trends, strategies and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness.
Specific Responsibilities:Collect data on potential customers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentationsUnderstand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers preferencesCompile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect itPerform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysisInterpret data, formulate reports and make recommendationsUse online market research and catalogue findings to databasesProvide competitive analysis on various companies market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operationEvaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correctRemain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
Qualification: BS or MBA degree in Statistics or related field preferred
Relevant Experience: 6+ years as in strategy and planning at leading research consulting companies or hardware / electronic product companies
