The Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Customer Support organization is currently seeking an Entry Level Avionics Service Engineer with general knowledge of avionics system design and engineering principles to assist airline customers in the resolution of in-service technical problems and issues related e-Enabling & Maintenance Systems; Central Maintenance Computing Function (CMCF), Airplane Condition Monitoring Function (ACMF) and Continuous Parameter Logging (CPL), On-Board Data Load Function (ODLF), Core Network, File Service Module FSM)(, Controller Server Module (CSM), Network Interface Module (NIM), Ethernet Gateway Module (EGM), Onboard Boeing Electronic Distribution of Software (OBEDS), Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), Network Security, Terminal Wireless LAN Unit (TWLU), Terminal Cellular Unit (TCU), Onboard Network System (ONS), File Transfer Service (FTS), Network File Server (NFS), Wireless WAN Unit (WWU), Aircraft Interface Device (AID), Maintenance Access Terminal (MAT), Crew Wireless LAN Unit (CWLU), Cybersecurity and Enhanced Software Security.

This position will be located in Seal Beach, California .

The primary responsibility in this role will be addressing and resolving in-service issues related to airplane e-Enabling and Maintenance Systems.

In this role, you will also be tasked with: working directly with airline customers to analyze system issues, developing and performing tests to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements, and monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

The position requires flexibility to address emergent issues and support important airline meetings off-hours.

This position may also require an occasional off-shift work schedule to support the fleet operating 24/7/365.

Job priorities will include monitoring potential in-service risks and issues, and managing appropriate mitigation plans to assure a successful entry into service.
