What we need from you

When it comes to nurturing collaborative stakeholder relations, it’s your excellent people skills that will make the difference. You will inspire people to make changes that will have a direct impact on our commercial success.  Furthermore, you will have the following skills and experiences:

• At least a PhD in computer science, engineering, mathematics, theoretical science, statistics, or operational research with experience in large-scale parameterization with at least 4 years relevant PQE.
• For this role, we prefer an AI specialist with experience in advanced fields such as reinforcement learning, GANs, meta learning, active learning, etc. applied to industrial process modelling and optimization, including (hyperspectral) image analysis.
• Proven experience in deterministic and stochastic optimization.
• Knowledge in the design of experiments, general linear modeling, multivariate analysis, statistical modeling, and/or time series modeling is a plus.
• A problem-solving mindset and an enthusiasm for learning new skills.
• Must have strong technical skills to develop advanced analytics algorithms/models.
• Hands-on code development (MATLAB, Python, Java, R).
• Experience using Git to manage models, and source code.
• Significant experience and track record of strategic business delivery from R&D and consultancy projects.
• Demonstrated people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
