Job Summary:-
This role is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to internal & external stakeholders.

A BSA will be able to recommend changes to existing metrics reporting structure, identify impacted functions, assist with ticket queue measurement and reporting and work with the technical team to review & implement changes.

Primary function will be to assist in the design and rollout of enterprise reports, dashboards, metrics and KPIs in support of Epsilon’s network engineering, storage, backup and virtual compute practices.

May provide consultation to users in the area of reporting systems, metrics and dashboards
May coordinate with cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats.

Improves systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.

Recommends controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.

Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.

Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.

Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications
Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

College or University degree required
Requires 3-5 years of previous professional experience
Able to assess a situation, receive input from stakeholders, and select a course of action.

Able to clearly communicate and articulate, both written and verbally, detailed specifications, and technical writing expertise is preferred
Knowledge of ITIL best practices
Working knowledge of MS
