What is Risk Data Management team responsible for?
The role of the Inv Risk Data Management team is to establish ownership and oversight along with a common and centralized view of Investment Risk data to support both the functional and Enterprise level.
A Business Data Analyst within the Risk Data Management team will act in an individual contributor role focused on supporting the ongoing maintenance and stewardship of Investment Risk owned data as well as being an integral part in supporting the production issue resolution process.
The position will require strong analytical and data management skills and a keen focus toward timely resolution of issues.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of Business Data Analyst?
Supports function of data maintenance and stewardship of Investment Risk owned data, where specific responsibilities include:
Ensures metadata, reference documentation, and data flows are accurate and up to date
Monitors data quality workflows and validations targeted toward the delivery of timely, accurate, and complete data to the business
Manages release controls for assigned data elements
Ensures assigned data elements are in adherence with enterprise defined data governance standards and best practices
Supports production issue resolution process for Investment Risk owned data and systems, where specific responsibilities include:
Identifies and reports data quality issues, related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in a timely fashion and works to resolve those impacting assigned data elements
