Job Role Summary

• Facilitate data governance meetings and coordinate data improvement activities and communication
• Work with data governance core group to define data rules, add data rules to monitoring dashboard, provide support of the monitoring tool, and steward progress
• Coordinate data remediation, actual remediation worked by business with either Data Operations, Data Process Advisors or Systems Process teams as needed
• Act as a single point of contact to advice and guide project members, product owners, architects and subject matter experts on data quality dimensions for those data domains both near term project impact  and long term business capability advancements.
• Track data quality issues and report to senior management including Data Owner, Data Architecture & Operations Manager where data domain is inconsistent across systems including recommendations to improve consistency and address root causes.
• Perform statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity
• Evaluate system performance and design, as well as its effect on data quality
• Collaborate with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes
• Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data
• Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends
• Documenting processes and maintaining data records
• Adhering to best practices in data quality monitoring
• Keeping abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis
• Work across global business lines to improve data quality issues

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/Master’s degree with CGPA 6 and above, Computer Science degree preferred
• Minimum  2-3 years of relevant work experience
• Strong business systems skills like Data Infrastructure, Transaction Flow, Business Events & Activities Translated to System, and Systems Interfaces/Integration of Modules
• Understanding interdependencies between business processes, financial activities, and systems functionality
• Should possess strong leadership and influencing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with a ‘virtual team’
• Preferred – DAMA certification (Certified Data Management Professional)
• Tableau, SAP Hana, Python, SQL skills with intermediate proficiency level
