Job Summary:-
Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems.

You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.

You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As Application Architect Data Platforms, you will develop, maintain, evaluate and test Big Data solutions.

You are responsible to design of data solutions using Hadoop based technologies like MapReduce, Hive, MongoDB or Cassandra
Responsible for Hadoop development and implementation including loading from disparate data sets, preprocessing using Hive and Pig
Scope and deliver solutions with the ability to design solutions independently based on high-level architecture
Maintain the production systems like Kafka, Hadoop, Cassandra, Elasticsearch
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in Data Modeling in Data Warehouse Environment
Experience with any of the leading tools for ETL and Warehousing Database platforms
Proven ability in multiple disciplines of data warehousing such as data access, ETL and data management
Working knowledge of various architecture methodologies.

Good knowledge of DB2, ETL
Demonstrated experience in various Big data architectures like Lambda / kappa with usage of automation / scheduling tool like Oozie or Cronacle or any other technologies
Hands-on expertise in solutioning covering data ingestion, data cleansing, ETL, data mart creation and exposing data for consumers
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Preferred Change Data Capture (CDC) experience
Experience analyzing source systems and mapping Enterprise Data Warehouse
Familiar with one cluster manager like Cloudera Manager or Ambari
Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.

Ability to manage change and be open to it good time management and an ability to work under stress
Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewi
