Job Summary:-
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Business Banking loan pricing analytics and forecasting team, the team member will play an active role in making data driven strategic pricing decisions for small business loans.
Collecting and/or working with data including standardizing, summarizing, offering initial observations and highlighting inconsistencies in data.
Design and develop complex data queries to move and transform data from operational data sources to analytical databases
Manage standard and adhoc reporting requests based on business partner requirements by leveraging a wide range of data wrangling tools .
Continuously review existing processes and identify opportunities to drive standardization and efficiency
Perform various quality reviews to ensure data accuracy
Actively strive to upskill and learn new technologies.
Experience, Education & technical skills:
Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Math, or related discipline.
2-5 years of experience as a data analyst with experience in data wrangling and management.
Strong knowledge of SAS and SQL – should be able to build complex and optimized queries
Good to have :
Basic understanding of scripting languages (R, Python, etc.
)
Exposure to BI tools like Alteryx, tableau
Working knowledge of data warehousing tools like Hive
Strong experience in Excel – should be comfortable with advanced functions.
Understanding of macros is beneficial.
Strong logical & analytical concepts in databases, schemas, dimensional modelling
Ability to work in ambiguity and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment as part of a team and as an individual contributor
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail, keen interest in automation and visualization
Experience working with large datasets and multiple database systems.
Ability to perform in both independent and collaborative work environments.
Should be flexible with EMEA shifts
