Job Summary:-
Specifically, this role is part of the Wholesale Credit Analytics team – on the “change the bank” side – and is a motivated, forward thinking team comprised of high-talent individuals with a singular focus on delivering innovative solutions.
The Analytics team is responsible for developing risk management products through data and analytical solutions built on top of the firm’s big data resources.
The team works across all lines of business and partners closely with stakeholders in Credit Risk Management, Corporate Technology, Bankers, Finance, Model Research and Development, Data Science, Reporting, Analytics and Operations.
Position
The data product owner role will lead the development and implementation strategy for data used by the Wholesale Credit Analytics team in their use cases.
The most immediate responsibility will focus on leveraging technology to enhance data quality controls for the team’s products and models, and to support the strategic data sourcing initiatives.
Longer term, the role would expand into credit monitoring and risk analysis of the clients managed by Wholesale Credit Solutions.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:Design and implement a robust data controls framework for the team’s data-driven products and models.
Drive actionable insights in credit risk by analyzing structured/unstructured data from internal and external data sources.
Gather, synthesize, analyze and present project data and findings.
Participate in working groups of senior credit officers.
Implement recommendations.
Convey key findings in dashboards and presentations to senior management by developing data visualization and summarization techniques.
Lead product enhancements that require new or augmented datasets from internal or external sources; gather requirements, conduct supporting data analysis, create execution plans and own delivery.
Supports risk strategy development by conducting data analysis on diverse datasets from small scale to “big data”.
Deliver strategic presentations for both internal and external audiences.
Establish and cultivate relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including technology, credit, product and project leads, to develop contacts on relevant subject matter.
