As a Survey Statistician, GS-1530-12, you will be responsible for:
Leading in the generation, presentation, and evaluation of demographic and economic analyses while supporting current processes and also working to identify workflow/system improvements and implement continuous improvements.
Serving as a technical expert for various demographic, economic, and statistical projects.
Communicating research achievements, objectives, and results to a wide variety of audiences, especially preparing manuscripts for publication and technical reports for presentation to statistical and non-statistical audiences.
Initiating, planning, executing, reporting, and controlling all work related to the award and oversight of assigned contracts.
Planning and coordinating project activities for large-scale demographic, or modeling projects.
The duties described above are at the GS-12 level. The incumbent at the GS-11 level will perform these same duties with more supervision and less complexity.
