Job Summary:-
We are seeking a Business Analyst for the Data Governance group.
Person will be working in partnership with Sr.
leadership to liaison between team and business/staff/technology groups for data governance initiatives including supporting and owning data dictionary, data quality, meta-data, big data, governance tools implementation, metrics and reporting, training, validation of adherence to standards and process.
Responsibilities
o Business analysis and support for strategic data governance initiatives, such as data anomaly investigations, compliance to standards investigations and resolution as well as larger segment wide projects.
o Identify and monitor data quality issues and implement centralized data controls.
o Identify opportunities and processes to ensure adherence to published data governance standards, including but not limited to accessibility, protection, quality and traceability.
o Focus on development, execution & maintenance of the framework as assigned with the goal of improvement management of data, its quality and the protection.
o Ensure adherence to policies, standards, principles & appropriate data architecture using governance metrics, processes, and related tools.
Provide Data Governance guidance to data owners, data stewards and CDO directors.
o Develop and deliver status updates on data governance initiative progress through reporting out on Data Governance metrics dashboards and scorecards.
Create reporting templates, process, and procedures for reporting.
o The creation, maintenance and documentation of all aspects for Governed Data Elements (GDEs) including business glossary and element definitions, all required technical meta-data, data dictionary’s, further resulting in business-wide data catalog of all meta-data within business segment or staff group.
o Program administration including cross organization engagement, adherence to frameworks, documentation maintenance and ensure deadlines are met and communicated.
Establish data stakeholder community network, maintain relationships and structure.
o Support Data Domain responsibilities as part enterprise big data
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of experience
Strong verbal and written comm
