Specialist – Vendor Quality
It’s an exciting time of growth for IFF, we’re inviting a result driven individual to join our Greater Asia Vendor Quality division as Specialist – Vendor Quality.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced talent with Vendor Quality specialization to be part of a global Flavours & Fragrances organization!
Your Focus
As Specialist – Vendor Quality, you will be responsible in developing corporate specifications, setting the global standard for incoming ingredients, and providing those expectations to IFF sites as well as third party vendors.

This includes development, coordination, issue resolution and global maintenance of ingredient technical specifications within appropriate IFF systems.

You will spend your time…Work directly with Global Procurement, IFF sites and IFF vendors to resolve supply chain issues related to IFF specification requirements.

Conducts technical specification reviews to support IFF in rationalization efforts to reduce the current numbers of IPC’s and vendors.

Participate in projects to improve vendor quality management and development and the processes involved.

Job Requirements
What you will need to be successful
Required SkillsTechnical writing skills and experience in Statistical Analysis.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Strong computer skills including manipulation of large data sets in Excel.

Integrity and strength of character to be able to handle resistance with tact.

Knowledge of SAP and PLM systems
Education & Essential Experience
Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Chemistry or Biological sciences, with experience in QA/QC in the Flavor, Food processing or Fragrance Industries.

Experience as a project team member within a global organization.

Preferred: 5 years’ experience in QA/QC in the Flavor, Food processing or Fragrance Industries with ingredient specification experience, quality engineering and statistical analysis skills.

A certification by the American Society of Quality or equivalent as one or more of the following is strongly encouraged:Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Reliability Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, Six sigma Green Belt, Certified Quality AuditorAbility to solve problems and provide support
