Responsibilities:
Design and develop application components and integrations to support the establishment and ongoing operation of the Point of Sale (POS) platform.
Analyze, review and implement new tools and technologies.
Gather information from product managers, business users, and system analysts, define work problems, and develop complete specifications/stories to design/code.
Provide recommendations for adopting new technologies and infrastructure for optimum performance and capacity planning to ensure efficient use of system resources.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology, business processes and practices to continually improve applications and systems processes.
Provide input into the long-range plans which may include requirements for hardware, software, and/or technical resources while protecting current investments.
Provide recommendations for adopting new technologies and infrastructure for optimum performance and capacity planning to ensure efficient use of system resources.
Communicate with the business or other IT departments as it relates to these requirements.
Ensure successful and timely delivery of all project components within area of responsibility following methodologies, standards and strategies
