ANALYST/SR. ANALYST  SHOPPER INSIGHTS, RETAIL OPERATIONS

Profile Summary:

The candidate will be required to work closely with Shopper-Insights Managers in maintaining Retail accounts by providing analytical support, which includes analyzing magazine category data and providing business insights, translating data into actionable techniques for selling incremental magazines copies at Retail.

Responsibilities:
Sales Reporting of magazine category data at all leading retailers in US, to identify trends and analyzing performance of Meredith publisher viz-a-viz the competition, on a monthly basis.

Use excel automation knowledge to maintain existing dashboards and to make critical changes to the dashboards based on business needs.

Use SQL knowledge to mine the data, build necessary metrics and prepare the data to build meaningful and crisp dashboards to visualize data trends.

Adhoc analysis to dig deep into one or more retailers and/or regions based on business requirements – frequency and scope of such analysis dependent on retailers and market trends.

Working on retail planograms (POG’s).

Providing meaningful insights that will help Shopper Insight managers to negotiate for effective space at Retail Checkout lanes and to streamline Mainline aisles.

Loyalty Card Analytics: Analyzing consumer behavior by profiling them based on demographic data, which will help in creating a targeted business plan
Maintenance of external Loyalty Card databases.

Uploading latest Meredith and category details and validating information.
