Responsibilities

Key Focus: Automotive Aftermarket

  • Keep pace with global trends in, and not limited to, products, companies, strategies, technology developments, R&D focus areas and business models
  • Understand business implications of technology / product innovations and /or related initiatives
  • Identify and evaluate industry best practices in technology / product innovations & technology leadership.
  • Identify and evaluate unique industry strategies in technology/product/processes that present ideal business cases
  • Demand Analysis of replacement for different product categories

Profile Expectations:

  • Mine, Analyze, Synthesize volumes of data towards addressing specific business objectives
  • Market forecasting, best practices understanding, competition bench marking, product mapping, technology forecasting, technology bench marking
  • Formulate technology roadmaps; recommend new areas of growth in industry, new business opportunities for stakeholders etc.

Profile Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection through secondary and primary research (with OEMs, Dealers, Distributors, Mechanics, Corporates, Govt. Agencies, academia, industry associations, investors etc.,)
  • Contribution to technology news alerts, syndicated and/or custom market research, technology reports, analyst briefings, media / press articles

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to apply foresight to develop strong visionary and out-of-the-box content
  • Adept in Information Gathering; Information Processing
  • Exposure to Data analysis, data mining, decision/conclusion making basis the data reading/analysis
  • Experience of working on statistical tools and forecasting models
  • Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills
  • Flair for Creative Problem Solving; Logical Reasoning; Analytical Thinking; Strategic orientation
  • Good grounding in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organized, collaborative and proactive team player with good sense of prioritization of time and multiple tasks
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Adaptable to accommodate changes in work timing’s to suit global client expectations
  • Knowledge of international languages is a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Science or other technical courses along with 3 to 5 years of research and consulting experience

Or

  • Bachelors in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial/ Electronics engineering along with 3 to 5 years of research and consulting experience
