As Senior R&D EUV Photolithography Materials Engineer at Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, you will lead material optimization projects for advanced memory devices.

Our team focuses on photoresists for Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) and 193nm immersion lithography, but we also evaluate spin-on hardmasks and photoresists for I-line and 248 nm lithography.

We collaborate with our team of process engineers to define material requirements and timelines.

We coordinate with suppliers on material evaluations to improve imaging performance, quality, and cost.

After identifying promising materials, you will work with our process, procurement, and quality teams to implement the best material.

You will spend several hours per week in the cleanroom.

Our team collaborates with other technology development and manufacturing sites worldwide.

You may lead alignment projects to ensure all fabs are matched on the best processes.

You will also address process issues with pilot manufacturing, support process excursions, and lead continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:We are looking for people with strong aptitude in research and development and an interest and capability to build new production-worthy and low-cost photolithography technologies.

Share technical data and work closely with suppliers to optimize materials for specific applications.

Work in a cleanroom several times a week, follow safety procedures, and use appropriate personal protection equipment.

Collaborate with groups across different departments, sites, and geographies.

Maintain global alignment on photo materials and process conditions.
