We are the global Finance analytics team, located primarily in Houston, TX and Bangalore, India.
We design, develop and deploy production solutions to facilitate various Finance, Accounting, Planning, and Business Operations inside of HP.
Our team has a mixture of disciplines ranging from Statisticians, Economists, Finance, Engineers, Front-end, Back-end, and visualization developers.
HP is currently going through enterprise-scale transformation initiatives that heavily relies upon a data-driven culture.
Our current focus for the coming year will be heavily forecast-related.

Generic Role Description
Leads a team of Data Science professionals to apply advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is also regarded as a subject matter expert.
Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
Frequently represents the organization to internal customers/clients.
Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
Required to provide mentoring and guidance to team members.
