Manager, Data Engineering with a passion for hands-on design/development and collaboration with our business partners.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of analysts and developers to deliver new functionality on the Customer Data Platform.

The Sr.

manager must have prior hands on experience (number of years) in designing and executing Enterprise Data Warehouse, Master Data Management or Data Marts at an enterprise scale.

Prior experience building real-time streaming patterns for Big Data and Cloud solutions is a big plus.

This role will lead a team with a wide range of technical skills which include Data Analysis, ETL (Informatica, Talend), object oriented languages (.

Net, Spring Boot, Spring DI frameworks), and modeling skills (SQL, ERwin) and ETL architecture.

This role will guide the team in understanding the business use cases and help design customer data solutions.

This role will help manage priorities, budgets, staffing and skill development within the team.

Job Summary
The Manager of Customer Data Platform will work with business stakeholders and external technology partners to deliver data engineering solutions on both traditional RDBMS, big data or cloud platforms.

This role will guide the team in understanding the strategic business drivers and influence solution design, so it aligns to our long-term vision.

This role will help build and develop critical business relationships to drive confidence in our data capabilities.

This leader will also be expected to drive improvements across teams enabling high-performance.

What you are good at
Build and develop business relationships with our stakeholders
Assist team members in interpreting scope, estimating impact/work and approving the estimates for distribution.

Lead a team of 5-7 direct report FTEs; provide feedback for individual development
Advise on technical decisions including architecture approach, solution design and detailed troubleshooting.

Monitor and recommend improvements to the team’s SDLC while contributing to the team’s adoption of Agile Methods (Scrum &/or Kanban).
