This position will aid in the development, management, and execution of analytics for OptumRx.

Responsibilities include application of various analytic modeling techniques to unlock key drivers of healthcare opportunities in order to enable full potential.

The candidate will leverage data science expertise to create novel analytic code to process billions of data records to distil into unique insights for OptumRx and its clients.

The position will partner closely with a web-based visualization team to ensure analytics are easily consumable.

To be successful in this role, candidates will need to possess an advanced understanding of relational databases, strong communication skills, and problem solving to complete complex tasks.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the development of automated and self-service SAS programs for OptumRx clinical products.

This includes obtaining necessary inputs from internal stakeholders, ensuring optimization of SAS code, collaborating with the web team to integrate SAS code with the website, and building consensus on appropriate output
Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues.

Develop innovative solutions and ensure quality of output provided to requestors.

Partner with IT and internal stakeholders in implementing new processes into existing reporting
Provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues.

Translate complex clinical analytic concepts for executive or lay audiences
Use Data Science techniques to preform quantitative analytics on structured Data
Collaborate with internal analytic stakeholders to productionalize new analytic models
