About this role

o   Perform comprehensive exploratory data analysis, build engaging visualisations, validate against available data and expert judgement

o   Use statistics and business domain experience to solve complex business problems in the service, operations, and sales & marketing areas

o   Provide clear, actionable recommendations from insights, formed through well-reasoned hypotheses with the collaboration with business owners

o   Write and review SQL and Python code, aligned to BT’s best practices

o   Play a key part in defining squad goals that will give clear deliverables with agreed success criteria and timescales

o   Liaise with Product Owner and Business Analyst to identify data problems, gaps or opportunities and see these to resolution through collaboration with other teams

o   Coach junior data analysts on analytical and technical skill sets.

o   Support wider insight team with advanced analytics deliverables and/or training and oversight, as relevant
