Scrum Master/Business Analyst

We are looking for a scrum master/business analyst to support the delivery of an end-to-end consumer engagement platform for our client, UnitedHealthcare (UHC). This role will work in a collaborative manner with various stakeholders and project team members to implement data, statistical models, marketing automation and reporting capabilities. By assuming this role, you will be a main point of contact and will be held responsible for the ultimate delivery of key deliverables using the Agile project delivery framework. This is a multi-faceted role and will require the necessary skills to keep many project aspects in front of them at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the appropriate business and IT groups throughout the application lifecycle to gather requirements, including design creation, code reviews, and test case sign off.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements that drive the analysis, design, and creation of quality technical solutions.
Clearly and concisely communicate verbal and written requirements and analysis output to development and QA
Align technical solutions with business and IT strategic visions while complying with the organization’s architectural standards.
Identify areas for simplification and bundling of IT requests to streamline project execution and make recommendations towards the need to develop new or reuse existing functionality.
Provide estimation of IT level of effort through partnership with system owners and all affected IT functions
Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
Communicating with executives to keep the project aligned with their goals
Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change

Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple tasks and nuanced requirements in a fast-paced environment
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology/Systems, Technical Communications, related field, or equivalent experience
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
3-5 years of relevant experience leading efforts around business/functional/system requirements
Experience with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies
Experience working within a heavily matrixed organization
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Working knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Working knowledge of marketing automation software (SFMC, Adobe, Oracle, Marketo, Hubspot, etc)
Health insurance industry experience a plus, but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $80.00 per hour
