The Vaccine Confidence Project (VCP) monitors attitudes towards vaccines through diverse data streams and aims to detect early warning signals of confidence losses in vaccines.
As the world begins the rollout of a COVID-19 vaccine, the VCP is actively engaged in data collection through various streams (traditional surveys, social media monitoring, etc) and is looking to increase its capacity to provide robust public health messaging to national and international policymakers and stakeholders.
The Vaccine Confidence Project is seeking to recruit one Research Fellow with strong quantitative backgrounds in relevant fields such as mathematics or statistics.
Experience with the following tools is highly desirable: Bayesian data analysis; regression methods; training-testing paradigms; post-stratification/re-weighting methods; latent variable methods such as item response theory, latent class analysis.
A PhD in a relevant field such as, mathematics, statistics, or physics is preferred, though strong candidates with MScs (or equivalent) will be considered.

The post is full time and fixed-term for 12 months with possibility of an extension depending on funding availability.
