Job Description
The Research Associate will be a member of the Predictive Analytics and Comparative Effectiveness (PACE) Center within the Institute for Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

The Research Associate participates in research activities.

Activities include but are not limited to reviewing and summarizing literature, collecting and preparing data, conducting data analysis, and preparing manuscripts and presentations.

The Research Associate must possess strong writing and organizational skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, the ability to handle multiple demands while meeting competing project deadlines, and a superb attention to detail.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for managing research projects, as directed by Principal Investigator (PI), ensuring ongoing forward movement of projects and ensuring deliverables are met in accordance with project timeline.

Responsible for conducting expansive literature searches and producing written literature summaries.

Responsible for assisting with and preparing manuscripts and grant applications, including the drafting of text, preparation of tables and figures, and preparation of article bibliographies.

Responsible for creating and editing presentations, including creating and editing graphs, figures and tables.

Responsible for producing other research deliverables (e.

g.

, development of questionnaires and data collection forms) as needed.

Responsible for preparing written summaries of project meetings.

Qualifications
JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), and familiarity with databases (e.

g.

, experience using MS Access).

Computer programming skills are a plus.
