Duties & accountabilities
-Database building GMO and gene-edited products
-Maintaining the GMO database-tracking the regulatory data
-Product identification through govt and non-gov sources
-Interviewing key companies’ leaders to understand and update the R&D pipeline
-Report writing and analysis
-Project management
-Support sales and marketing teams
-Contribute to client support and consultancy projects across broader crop science and agribusiness group
-Attending conferences and meetings
Business competencies
Education and experience
Master of Biology/Biotechnology/ Agriculture Science/ Statistics, Business Administration/ or equivalent with 2+ years of industry experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ideally, you will have a knowledge of the seed industry, biotechnology or agricultural markets and some industry experience of producing market analysis in business intelligence (market, competitor Intelligence), product development, strategic marketing, strategic planning or similar function in the agribusiness sector. Alternatively, you may have experience as an analyst in an investment bank or corporate financial institution.
