Summary of the role:
Commercial Policy and Strategy Reporting Analyst who can help drive critical business decisions by analyzing data, metrics and designing reports.

Communicate these results to managers and provide suggestions based on their findings to influence or direct business decisions and commercial policy around service level, price realization, and sales activity.

Job Description
Training and encouraging staff to maintain complete databases that can be used for subsequent analysis.

Gathering raw data from pertinent individual systems or data sources.

Collating such data to facilitate its interpretation via Alteryx or other similar tools
Validating and cleaning data, taking special care to replace erroneous values with correct figures.

Analysing and interpreting data, with due consideration to the influence of missing information, outliers, or confounding and extraneous variables.

Reporting on insights obtained, to be utilized to inform business strategies.

Consulting on areas of uncertainty to promote optimal use of ideas derived from data.

Creating and updating data sets that evolve in tandem with our business’s needs.

Key Skills for the role
Demonstrable experience as a Reporting Analyst.

Knowledge of suitable data analytic processes and data source structures.

Proven experience creating data-driven knowledge that promotes profitability.

Capacity to train staff and maintain documentation on foundational data entry techniques as they pertain to tracking and reporting on Special Offer contracting.

Ability to improve, update, proprietary systems and data sources such as CVMS.

Strong troubleshooting and report writing abilities with Excel, Tableau and Business Objects.
