Remote Data Scientist

Responsibilities of the Data Scientist include:
· Implement and stress test digital models for loan loss allowance, CECL, and prepayment models for all products
· Produce analysis reports to set allowance for loan losses
· Understand and utilize forecast models to prepare for CECL implementation
· Utilize communication skills to engage with model development, risk management, and production teams to develop consistent model implementation
· Maintain a high degree of data quality and accuracy in all model results and reports
Qualifications for the Data Scientist include:
· BA/Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field
· 2+ years of experience in quantitative modeling development/implementation
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Experience and proficiency utilizing SAS, R, and Python
Compensation for the Data Scientist includes:
· Salary Range: $100,000 – $110,000 *depending on experience*
