Job Summary:-
Senior Software Engineer – SQA Tools and Automation

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join a small, cohesive team responsible for the continual expansion of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) automation tools.

We work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment where our customers are SQA engineers and software developers building leading edge telecommunications equipment.

Our tools are used to test Oracle’s market-leading Session Border Controller (SBC) and related products, which together provide trusted, first-class delivery of next-generation voice, data and unified communications services and applications across IP networks around the world.

This may be the job for you if you like a variety of challenges, because the work we do is quite varied:

Programming with Tcl, Python, Robot Framework, C, Lua, Java, and PHP.

Development of tools for testing SIP, DIAMETER, REST, JSON, etc.

Implementation of tools in a cloud-based CI/CT environment.

Programming interface implementation for 3rd party tools and equipment.

Development of an infrastructure for managing equipment and executing automated tests.

Database development and maintenance.

Expansion and maintenance of test result reporting mechanisms.

Day-to-day management of critical linux infrastructure.

Development of tools for web testing.

Tools documentation, support, and training.

The successful candidate will possess a wide ranging knowledge of test automation, tool development, cloud environments, and protocol testing.

Preferred qualifications are:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is required.

Master’s degree is preferred.

Minimum of 5+ years experience in a software development or tools automation role, preferably in data networking and telephony environments with an emphasis on Next Generation IP services.

Familiarity with data networking environments.

Experience with TCL, Python, Robot Framework, or other test automation scripting languages.

Experience deploying cloud-native applications utilizing cloud-native technologies, especially Docker containers & Kubernetes.

Experience with Linux, virtualization, and network administration.

Experience with networking and IP security protocols, especially
