Save the Children in India works on 5 core themes: Health & Nutrition, Education, Child Protection, Child Poverty and Resilience in collaboration with the Government, civil society organizations, and the community across 12 states and has reached over 3 million children across India.
Function:Programme & Policy covers Programme Implementation (with partners or direct implementation), Thematic Expertise (technical knowledge in areas of specialization), and Policy & Programme Impact (advocacy, research, monitoring & evaluation, and quality).
The function links grass-roots work with policy changes at the highest level, and manages an ecosystem of partnerships including, but not limited to, community organizations, donors, peer organizations, academic institutions, media, and the state.
Role Purpose:The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overall implementation of the project.
S/he will be also responsible to coordinate all the existing human resources under the project to achieve the overall outcome of the project within the stipulated timeframe.
Main responsibilities:S/he shall be responsible for the overall execution of the project.
Plan and manage the entire project with the project team and provide overall project coordination.
