Introduction
This position is for a Data Scientist role to contribute as principal technical expert in the advanced analytics domain for GLOBAL FOUNDRIES’ state of the art 300/200mm wafer fabs.
Individuals will be part of a core team establishing a Data Analytics platform.
Individuals will partner with users to identify strategic opportunities and innovation ideas.
Individuals will then work on transforming ideas into working solutions alongside local and global cross functional teams from Globalfoundries, developing advanced analytics algorithms, including development of Machine/Deep Learning algorithms.
Job Responsibilities
Passionate about data science and technology, staying abreast with industry trend and technology roadmap in Data analytics, Applied Statistics and Mathematics
Develop/Prototype algorithms to drive insights and opportunities by harnessing diverse data arrays like electrical test data, inline measurements, tool sensor outputs etc.
originated through semiconductor manufacturing process.
Individuals will be part of a team that is responsible for governing methodology in advanced analytics and automation.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify the areas of automation and develop corresponding algorithms to implement ideas bringing incremental contribution in the remote Fab support.
Mentors and coaches on statistical techniques, analytics algorithms, semiconductor manufacturing process to new hires and teammates
Required Qualifications :
PhD, Masters Degree (Requires 5+ Years of experience) in Electrical eng, Applied Physics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistic
