PMO & Portfolio is a part of GPPD in EBSC Chennai, supporting all Vestas Facilities across Manufacturing and Global Procurement areas.

Responsibilities
To have control on the Portfolio and Resource Management Tool, which to ensure all the focused projects are followed up on on time fulfilling Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Targets of the Business need as per Plan.

Ensure resource availability with all stakeholders to coordinate projects within organization without any delays.

Identification of Critical Path and practical mitigation of key risks in project cycle including appropriate communication to key stakeholders and Management team.

Direct the development of improvement initiatives in the areas of portfolio, programme and project management
Support COO project managers and business stakeholders in the use of the PMO toolbox for high quality project execution
Coordinate / contribute to new project organization and business process development across the Vestas value chain in the areas of project, programme and portfolio managementQualifications
Education: Bachelor OR Master degree in Engineering
Experience : Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in handling Project porfolios
Change management skills (good in communication, training, coaching)
Solid proven experience working with Portfolio and Project Execution or other PMO related disciplinesCompetencies
Self- motivated, enthusiastic – take responsibility to ensure progress and results
Open and seek collaboration with team-members + engage creative approach with staff in each function across the organization.

Take responsibility for own area and interact as integrated team-member with other team members
Sees and understand western cultures as a positive opportunity
Accept guidelines from functional Management and effectively inform them on issues, risks etc.
