Job Description
Datacenter Engineering Group (DPEA-SPIV) is looking for a validation engineer Platform debug Engineer, to secure the SW quality.

In this position, You will have a chance to touch cutting-edge silicon, Linux OS and server hardware technologies and see how to apply those technologies in big internet companies.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1.

Own and drive resolution of multidisciplinary platform issues of your domain through ingredient partners.

2.

Identify the Root cause, isolate and disposition of all PV issues specific to the domain.

3.

Sysdebug Eng.

will be co-owner of test coverage of your domain and should be responsible for identifying gaps and adding test content.

4.

Improve Program execution efficiency by scripting the required area.

(Test case, tool).

5.

Act as a gatekeeper for Platform bug quality wrt clarity in description, defining mandatory fields, avoid noise.

6.

Make sure SLAs are followed for the Bug life cycle, get a commitment from different ingredient partners, monitor, and correct any deviation specific to the domain.

7.

Responsible for quality of bug status in a weekly bug report.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications’ in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field with
5+ years of relative experience.

1.

Be responsible for triage, debug and identification of the root cause of hardware and software failures and design of experiment to
narrow down potential root cause areas.

2.

Be a gate keeper to ensure a healthy product/platform quality release to internal and external customers with sighting indicators.

3.

Expertise in Linux Kernel debugging
4.

Linux system /User mode programming(Expert)
5.

Good understanding of ARM(preferred) or X86 architecture.

6.

Good Knowledge on any of the domain like PCIe, Memory, PM, Boot Loader
7.

Knowledge on Shell and Python.

8.

Strong Self -learning and excellent communication capability
9.

Knowledge in deploying and validating, AI, machine learning models (Good to have)
10.

Creative thinker and a proven track of record as a strong technical problem solver.
