Job Summary:-
This position requires strong and proven experience in Logistics/Manufacturing Engineering.

The position is primarily responsible for the design or analyze operational solutions for projects such as transportation optimization, network modeling, process and methods analysis, cost containment, capacity enhancement, routing and shipment optimization, or information management.

The position will support and develop process improvements to ensure 6S targets are engineered into the operational processes and the warehouse layout/material flow.

Performs traditional motion and time studies coupled with ergonomic and safety analysis.

Investigates technologies and process improvements.

Supports operations continuous improvement projects through engineering.

Perform method and time studies to build and maintain routings (basis for manpower and equipment resources planning).

Determine logistics support requirements, such as facility details, staffing needs, or safety and maintenance plans.

Provide logistics technology or information for effective and efficient support of product, equipment or systems manufacturing or service.

Develop logistic metrics, internal analysis tools or key performance indicators for business units.

Analyze or interpret logistics data involving customer service, forecasting procurement, manufacturing, inventory, transportation or warehousing.

Evaluate the use of inventory tracking technology, Web-based warehousing software, or intelligent conveyor systems to maximize plant or distribution center efficiency.

Analyze logistics processes.

Space analysis and material flow improvements
Assist in maintenance of the WMS as required
Communicating effectively both with management and their team
Identifying process improvement, cost savings, and implement changes to achieve them
Evaluate aspects and methods of distribution, facility layout and workflow process for contract logistics operations.

Assess and implement requirements for standard productivity metrics and KPI’s.

Assess & determine opportunities for operational and ergonomic improvement at all 3PL locations.

Identifies opportunities and leads process improvement projects to drive cost savings
Conducts root cause analysis and develops data analysis t
