Overview
This analyst will become part of ISS’ quant team and work with senior members of quant team on Incentive Lab’s data models & award simulator product, ISS’ proprietary models for executive compensation and corporate governance.

This analyst will be responsible for supporting Incentive Lab’s data feeds, maintaining data models & award simulator, and provide data analysis, model validation and testing for model development for ISS’ models.

Job description
Work with members of quant team on all Incentive Lab’s data models, data feeds and simulation products.

Provide SQL/data query/data analysis/model validation & testing/programming support for multiple business units of ISS: Incentive Lab, ISS, ICS, 15-C, etc.

for each unit’s own proprietary quantitative models.

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Financial Engineering, or an equivalent field with a minimum GPA of 3.

5 is preferred; 1-2 years of relevant experience is desired.

Strong statistical and mathematical background and experience with financial modeling required.

Technical skills required include SAS, SQL queries/database programming, a general understanding of databases, and programming skill such as Python, VBA, C++.

Conceptual understanding and practical experience in advanced topics including Monte Carlo Simulations, Linear and Logistic Regression, Option Pricing and Derivative Valuation.

Experience in analyzing financial statements, financial metrics, and executive compensation structures.

Strong detail-orientation a necessity.

General research skills, including strong analytical skills, and the ability to document complex processes.
