Responsibilities:

• Primary data warehouse developer

• Design, create and maintain data warehouse environment using Microsoft SQL Server and Data Vault

• Design, create and maintain ETL packages using Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS

• Create views of the data warehouse data for consumption by external applications

• Design, create and maintain operational data stores

• Provide subject matter expertise to IT management

• Partner with IT Infrastructure and operations groups to provide SQL administration

• Partner with the BI Manager to provide data warehouse best practices, data modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes

• Understand business intelligence analytic tools and dashboards in order to present information in a meaningful way

• Optimize the performance of the data warehouse environment

Qualifications/ Experience:

• Expert in data warehouse, data modeling using and ETL using Microsoft SQL Server.

• 3 or more years of data warehouse design and development experience required.

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or equivalent is required.

• Experience building ETL packages to pull data from major ERP systems include SAP, Sage and Syspro

• Knowledge of business core processes and business acumen.

• Experienced in Microsoft SQL Server administration including performance tuning and security

• Experience with business intelligence tools including Qlik, Tableau and Power BI, Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrated experience in creating technical and functional specifications with related test plans.

• Understanding of best practices for data modeling, data dimensions and ETL.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work in culturally diverse cross-functional teams across business units.
