WHAT YOU’LL DO
Welcome to BCG Worldwide IT! We are seeking a core team member to join our growing Security Engineering team, as an IT Data Protection Senior Engineer.

You will be working in a Security Engineering, Architecture and Operations capacity to drive and support improvements globally, to support our newly formed Data Classification service within Information Protection and Cloud Security.

Work with data protection, application development teams, information security, and risk management teams to ensure data classification and data protection services are continuously improving
Support proof of concepts, research and developments of new cloud and data security stacks
Help define and continuously improve cloud and data security services based on input from a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders and technology teams as well as the IT industry at large
Support creation and maintenance of technical cloud and data security service roadmaps
Prepare and review monthly status reports and statistics
Troubleshoot Cloud and Data Security related issues
Apply industry and BCG security knowledge, policies, standards, and practices
YOU’RE GOOD AT
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; command of additional languages will be considered a plus
Strong interpersonal and team skills
Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to clearly define the problem and identify potential solutions that consider its broader impact
Strong work management, organizational and planning skills
Well-honed and credible influencing skills including the ability to negotiate and gain consensus amongst all involved parties where competing priorities exist
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a virtual, geographically dispersed team that brings a sense of urgency to the tasks at hand
Must be able to perform successfully in a demanding, fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented, and global (follow the sun) environment
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Relevant bachelors degree (or equivalent)
Minimum 5+ years of systems and/or security engineering experience with large scale implementations distributed globally.
