What you need to know about this position & What extra ingredients you will bring:
An Analyst/ Consultant Inventory Optimization: is responsible for supporting mathematical modeling needs for inventory optimization & allied supply optimization processes for designated geography across the globe.
The role includes statistical modeling for Multi Echelon Inventory Models (MEIO) to help region meet the regular inventory targets as defined by management business objectives.
Statistically model the multi-tier supply chain network for each market of given geography, define appropriate inventory policy parameters for feeding them to SAP APO SNP for regular replenishment
Work closely with Supply Planning function and factories to find ways to reduce the overall inventory in FG, RM/PM category or MRO category
Liaison with Regional Supply Planning Capability Leads to define & support a governance a process for inventory policy parameter refresh for each region and execute it accordingly
Create / leverage simulation tools and lead various
