Intern – Year Round (Enterprise Data Platforms)

Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Enterprise Data Platforms department; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects
• Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments including technical duties associated with cloud computing
• Perform research and analysis; may include quantitative and/or qualitative analysis, management, etc.
• Validate and develop models for interaction between people and computers or software and devices
• Proactively identify opportunities to develop new products or solve practical computing problems; seeking to improve the performance of existing computer systems and software within the organization
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university
• Exposure to problem resolution including determining root cause, scope, and scale of issues
• Experience in solving routine or standard administrative, operational and/or system problems and issues
• Effective analytical thinking skills to include summarizing information and clearly identifying key elements, patterns, results, or relationships
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
• Effective research and problem-solving skills
• Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Ability to interpret and synthesize large amounts of information
• Effective skill following, interpreting, and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices, and regulations
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
•Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
•Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Desired:
• Exposure to the application of statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, and related analytical tools
• Basic programming skills using languages such as Python and Java and an understanding of how to connect and retrieve data using SQL for analysis
• Ability to identify and use technology to solve problems and prepare for the future needs of the organization. In areas such as payments, blockchain, artificial intelligence, digital wealth management, etc.
