The University of Southern California (USC) Department of Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking an IAM Security Administrator with an exceptional commitment to service excellence to join its team.
As the IAM Security Administrator, you will be an integral member of the Identity Access Management team of the Office of the CISO.
The IAM Security Administrator will be responsible for implementing, configuring, upgrading, maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating Identity and Access Management (IAM) applications, platforms, systems, and components. In addition, this position is responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system and accounts issues.
This position works with IT internal support teams as well as external clients within the university to provide the highest standards of support relative to identity access management practices. Other responsibilities include creating or maintaining documentation tools and applications to support access and identity management practices, developing solutions to integrate users and tools in a secure manner, and analyzing data to establish solutions to deployment, adoption, and maintenance of new and legacy systems.
THE WORK YOU WILL DO
The IAM Security Administrator will:
Implement, configure, upgrade, and operate Identity and Access Management (IAM) applications, platforms, systems, and components in collaboration with schools and units across the organization.
Troubleshoot, manage, and solve issues related identities, systems, access, accounts, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissions. Determine and recommend the most appropriate response to identified more complex problems, issues and/or defects by assessing impact and prioritization.
Maintain, patch, operate, and monitor the health of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. Troubleshoot, support, and resolve system incidents, problems and changes, as required.
Provide analysis, development, testing, training, communication, deployment, adoption, and maintenance of new and legacy IAM systems. Leverage problem solving and data analysis skills to ensure projects deliver on time.
