Job Overview
Provide support and guidance to less experienced members of a Human Resources team in their day-to-day operational roles. Support the continuous improvement of the HR function through development and implementation of HR projects and programs in an assigned geography or business line.
Essential Functions
• Supports R&DS Projects such as prepration for Leadership Development Reviews, Employee Pulse Survey Results, Exits Survey Analysis, Onboarding Survey Analysis
• Prepares detailed insights on attrition analysis for senior leadership team
• Collaborates best practices with cross functional teams to bring in efficiencies
• Provides data analysis support during Mergers and Acquisition
• Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system, management and employee surveys, exit interviews tools, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors practices through market intel, and other sources.
• Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, employee satisfaction, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
• Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
• Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
• Facilitates implementation of new training, development, recruiting, and other related initiatives.
• May conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt.
• Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
• May assist HR leadership with staffing, recruiting, and departmental budgets.
• May guide and/or assist with performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of employment laws, HR, and HR policies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
MS Excel – Advance level
MS PowerPoint – Advance level
Other Office programs will be an added advantage
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and similar employee management software.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications
• Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills
• Very high degree discretion and confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and plan routine activities
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
• Professional HR accreditation in progress Req
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree Req
• 3-5 year experience within an HR function as a generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience Req
