Job Summary:-
We are pleased to invite applications for a Higher Scientific Officer (Data Analyst) within our well established, small and supportiveScreening and Immunisation Team.
You will be a valued member of the team with responsibility for the coordination and analysis of public health data across Lancashire and South Cumbria screening and immunisation programmes.
Currently the role plays a central role in tracking and analysing recovery of the screening and school based immunisation programmes following interruptions due to the pandemic and roll out of the Covid 19 mass vaccination programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high quality immunisation and screening services in Lancashire and South Cumbria.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate interest and experience in public health, data analysis and data interpretation, along with a commitment to deliver high quality results.
You will have knowledge and skills to effectively interpret and evaluate data, with experience of developing, managing and maintaining large databases.
You will have experience of project management and proven organisational skills, along with a methodical approach to problem solving and the ability to re-prioritise and balance sometimes conflicting priorities.
