Required Competencies
Geosciences/Engineering/Environmental Sciences knowledge with field experiences in environmental assessments and remediation desired.

Strong technical writing skills.

Strong focus on data skills: data engineering, management and/ or visualization.

Can be in either academic or work experience.

Ability to translate environmental problems through digital and data solutions.

Commitment to data quality at all levels and scales.

Strong organisation skills – ability to work independently and in a team and ensure communications are effective.

Problem solving skills
Awareness of Contaminated Land Risk Assessment and Remediation technologies.

Work experience in environmental consultancy or environmental laboratory.

A positive attitude towards Health & Safety.

A desire to engage with a global team.

Proficient in commonly used Microsoft Office 365 apps.

Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

Networking, communication and people skills.

Flexibility in working hours.

Principal Duties & Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and update environmental investigation and recommendation reports.

Collect, manipulate, transform, organize and analyse large and disparate environmental datasets and use BI and visualization tools to aid environmental management and decisioning.

Experience with R/ MATLAB, MS Access, GIS, SQL, EQuIS, EIMS, ESdat is highly desirable but not essential.

However, the ability to work o n data sets with attention to detail is essential.
