At Delta Faucet Company, we are seeking a data scientist to join our eCommerce Team and use data to identify strategies to satisfy evolving consumer needs and drive demand at key online retailers.

This role will include a wide variety of project types and is a terrific opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about learning and applying new techniques, enjoys partnering with teammates to understand nuances of business operations, can scope an appropriate analytic approach to an open-ended problem, and is able to identify potential opportunities to use data and analytic techniques to drive sales and market share.

Projects will range from analysis of text from consumer reviews, to testing and measurement with experimental design, to building interpretable machine learning models.

Responsibilities:
Researching and identifying valuable data sources
Performing preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
Analyzing consumer review text and finding opportunities to better meet consumer needs
Designing and executing business experiments in a constantly evolving eCommerce marketplace
Brainstorming and implementing new predictive models that drive revelatory insights to the business
Quantifying the relationship between merchandising / marketing levers and sales impact
Contributing and gaining knowledge from a growing analytics community
Encouraging evidence-driven decision making and high-level statistical analysis throughout the team
Becoming a trusted partner and analytic resource with eCommerce team members
Creating intuitive data visualizations
Converting findings into impactful recommendations and presenting compelling stories to business leaders
Tackle complex challenges working across multiple teams in a matrixed environment to inform solutions
Education & Experience:
We are looking for someone with:
Proven record (4+ years) of using sophisticated data mining techniques to uncover insights and guide business decisions in a sales, marketing, or manufacturing environment
Experience in design of business experiments and statistical test
