Job Summary:-
The requirement is for a Data Science Expert to join our team of data scientists, data engineers & business analysts and lead the formulation of the Data Science strategy and ensure execution of that strategy for one of 8 workstreams within the UCDE team.
The Data Science Expert will be independently responsible for solutioning the business opportunities & challenges, data collection, processing, transformation, modeling, analysis & visualization of the output for his/her workstream.
The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in both big and small data sets across both internal and external sources of data and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company.
The Data Science Expert will work closely with the Project Manager of the UCDE team, leaders in the Print Business Units (BUs) and the Engineering teams to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.
He/she will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for their workstream.
He/she will use advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and Machine Learning techniques to interpret key findings from both company data and external data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.
The right person for the job will apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems faced by our company and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams and business units.
