We Require
- Two years of experience in mass appraisal modeling, linear regression, or Supervised Machine Learning
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or another closely related discipline that includes statistics/quantitative analysis
- Incumbents will be required to pass all DOR Level I courses within 15 months of employment with the Assessor’s Office
We Also Value
- Experience in the development and deployment of linear regression models
- Experience in mass appraisal modeling with ad valorem appraisal experience
- Proficiency using SPSS, R, Python, ArcGIS, and/or Microsoft Power BI
- Completion of an IAAO MAS, CAE, or RES designation, or equivalent
- Completion of at least two appraisal modeling courses, such as IAAO 300, 311, 312, 331, 332, or 333, or equivalent
