We Require

  • Two years of experience in mass appraisal modeling, linear regression, or Supervised Machine Learning
  • A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or another closely related discipline that includes statistics/quantitative analysis
  • Incumbents will be required to pass all DOR Level I courses within 15 months of employment with the Assessor’s Office

We Also Value

  • Experience in the development and deployment of linear regression models
  • Experience in mass appraisal modeling with ad valorem appraisal experience
  • Proficiency using SPSS, R, Python, ArcGIS, and/or Microsoft Power BI
  • Completion of an IAAO MAS, CAE, or RES designation, or equivalent
  • Completion of at least two appraisal modeling courses, such as IAAO 300, 311, 312, 331, 332, or 333, or equivalent
