Role: Data Scientist

Location: Bangalore 

Qualification required:

BE/BTech in Computer Science/Statistics/IT/ECE stream

1-2 Years as a data scientist, machine learning engineer, data analyst

What are you expected to do? 

You will work with huge volumes of data to solve/enable solving real-world ML problems that are productionized into our MLOps platform to be consumed by downstream applications OR become product features OR stand-alone products.

You must be highly comfortable with data manipulation and will be required to write data manipulation code on a day-to-day basis. The candidate must be highly knowledgeable in Pandas, Numpy, and other libraries of Python.

You will combine data sciences depth, programming expertise, and mathematical understanding of techniques to deliver state-of-the-art ML solutions for problem-solving across the enterprise.

You will demonstrate a product mindset and look to deliver reusable components that can be deployed as or into ML services/productized solutions.

You will partner closely with engineering, product management, analytics & transformation teams to deliver outstanding value to stakeholders and our data products.

Desired Profile:

Programming in Python, PostgreSQL, Scikit-Learn – Solution creation from structured/unstructured data.

Storytelling, business communication, and Documentation.

Exploratory Data Analysis (Data Wrangling, Data Transformation, and Feature Engineering).

Able to prepare data pipelines and feature engineering pipelines to build robust models using SQL, AWS batch, etc

Experience in building and iterating on business intelligence kits for the organization (both batch and real-time)

ML services from Clouds such as AWS

Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities

Good to have:

Knowledge of (in at least three of) Classification, Prediction, Fraud Detection Systems, Time Series Forecasting, Optimization, NLP

Modeling, Model performance metrics, Hyperparameter tuning, Statistics Knowledge (Probability Distributions, Hypothesis Testing)
