Requirements:
Education
•Bachelors in Computer Science or Math or Statistics •PhD or Masters in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics or related field (Preferred)
Experience
•3+ years of experience in a Data Scientist role with coding experience
Specialized skills/others
•Deep knowledge of the foundations of machine learning and statistics •Knowledge of SQL, Google Big Query, Python, open-source ML tools / notebooks (Jupyter etc.) •Hands-on experience of exploratory analysis, AB testing •Hands-on experience of training ML models and running live ML systems
Job Responsibilities:
•Exploratory data analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis on both internal (historical GL data) and external (market trends) data and run hypothesis testing to prepare insights on in-demand skills and predictive hiring •Demand sensing algorithm design: Design data modeling process, create algorithms and predictive models to develop forward looking view of skill cluster demand based on historical consumption & open positions. Design mechanism to incorporate outside-in inputs based on new technologies to tweak forward looking demand •Demand sensing tool & roadmap development: Once established, automate the demand sensing ML model to be able to run monthly. Identify re-training frequency, develop run-book for re-training. Establish 12-month roadmap for demand sensing enhancement
•Records verification and management: Communicate and confirm findings/hypothesis with Head-TAG, Head – L&D and Delivery Heads; document development and deployment process details through reports and artifacts
