The Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) Supply Chain team is responsible for building the next generation supply chain for Amazon’s world-class ultra-fast customer experiences, including Prime Now, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Go, Whole Foods, Treasure Truck, Amazon Business, and other soon-to-launch exciting new businesses.

At Amazon, you will be working in one of the world’s largest and most complex data environments.

You will be responsible for solving complex big-data problems in our supply chain and use your analytical and quantitative skill to identify optimization opportunities and ensuring teams make data-driven decisions.

An ideal candidate should have strong depth and breadth knowledge in data analysis and visualization, SQL, and data design.

The candidate should have familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (Redshift), a scripting language (e.

g.

Python, R) and a data science platform (e.

g.

, Sagemaker).

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
Advanced knowledge of Python, R, or other programming language
Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required.

Experience working in very large data warehouse environments
Data science models deployed in production solving a large business problem
Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making
Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
