Description: We plan our capacity and optimize allocation with a high degree of automation, integration and transparency in our collaborative network
Product team name: Production.

AI
Description: Production.

AI as an enabler team creates value from data by providing H&M Group with capabilities to lower our sourcing costs and optimize our production flows.

Production.

AI provides solution to different tools, applications and systems within H&M, starting in 2019 with Fact Based Costing, with the first use case called Comparable Product Recommendation engine, where we provide the best match, given the data available, that matches historically with what the user is currently negotiating prices on.

The purpose of Production.

AI is to provide three different parts of One end-2-end AI eco-system:
A Data Platform, with the information needed to build algorithms that support our teams
Algorithms that generate matches and/or recommendations for our processes and solutions to use
APIs that make recommendations available for other solutions to use
Role:
Within Production AI we develop and improve AI methods as well as explore how machine learning can be applied to support decision making in the organization.
